DFS double discount sale

Hi
We are looking to buy a sofa from DFS called 'Kool'. The salesperson told us that their double discount sale would be ending at the end of this week (but I'm sure another sale will come in it's place immediately). He also told us that at the end of the week, it is one of their times in the year when they change their stock and some of their lines are discontinued, 36 last time apparently.
My question is, does anyone work for DFS or heard what their next sale is likely to be and whether the sofa I am after will be discontinued?
I'd like to buy the sofa, but if the price is likley to drop next week, I would be gutted.
Another thought, if I bought the sofas on credit this week, I get a short amount of time to decide whether I want to cancel so I guess it may be possible to buy it and wait and see what happens next week. If the price goes down, I could cancel the agreement. (Not sure if this would work).
Thanks in advance for your help.
