Be careful about Laithwaites. I bought a discounted 15 bottle case. Good value BUT 2 months later they sent a letter to my house saying they were going to charge my credit card for another (expensive) case IF I DID NOT CANCEL THE PLANNED DELIVERY. Fortunately I was not away on holiday. If I had been away it could have caused problems. If you are out they just leave it somewhere. If you try their discounted offer you MUST formally tell them you do not want any more from them.Hi guys, wondering if anyone knows of any good/cheap wines deal ongoing at the mo - ran out of red wine - not good.....0 -

Agreed - they do mention this when get the discounted case that you are signing up for a wine plan although I guess it could be a little clearer. They handle it well though, they seem used to people canceling so one quick phone call with a nice person from customer services and it was sorted.
Their discounted introductory case is a different selection to their normal one and it did seem to be only worth the discounted price not the claimed rrp. There wasn't anything wrong with the wines just they didn't exactly shine...just seemed to be on par with generic supermarket offers.0 -
does' gondola' do this too,or can you just order the one time?0

Keep an eye on the somerfields that have become Co-Op's as I got 4 bottles of Blossom Hill White Grenache at £1.87 each. Its actually a pink wine *shrugs shoulders* I'm sure wine drinkers understand. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

From today there's 25% off all Australian wines at Tesco, and then a further 5% if you buy 6 or more bottles. All views and posts reflect my own opinions and advice0

A litlle trick i have discovered, i will share but dont shoot me down for it!
M&S wine club will let you start a subscription for £40 / 12 bottles, cancel it and then start again so you keep getting the initial offer0 -
"Know of any great wine deals"
Now, do you mean:
great wine deals OR
great wine deals ?
I can't afford "great wine" - but if you are looking at the latter, try Sainsbury's Basics Spanish Table Wine; I have tried the Rose and it 'aint bad at all for £2.68 a bottle (less what ever multi-buy discount they have going as well)0
