Mmm not neccesarily. You're £17.50 is based on an Advance fare. If the ship's late returning and you catch the next train the Advance is invalid and you have to buy a full price single.

It goes on tue or fri up until 18 july as I can tell should workout at around £66 for 2 people plus parking £30 food & drink

I don't know if I'm reading the T&Cs wrongly, but it looks to me as though they don't want this offer discussed anywhere online.

T&C No. 11:

This voucher is valid for redemption until 31st March 2011 and for travel not
exceeding 31st May 2011. It is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for any other
holiday, SOLD ON OR AUCTIONED OFF and no part of it may be

Just contacted Brittany Ferries who did not have this offer. They gave me the no for Wessex Travel. They quoted the trip as follows:-
£99 x2 for inside cabin Portsmouth to Santander back to Plymouth. They include bus travel back to Portsmouth or vice versa.
Dates with bus includes are 23rd June, 28th July, 18th August. This may work out cheaper if there is 4 in the cabin.
Still not as cheap as £6. Nevermind worth a try:)
