Should I confess to my landlord?

I'm due to go bankrupt on 15th June and I'm getting worried about my landlord. I go through an agency (Countrywide) and I'm worried that if I tell them, they'll evict me. My contract with them doesn't mention bankruptcy at all.

Should I tell them now, or wait? Will the OR definitely tell them?

Some people have said the OR contacted their LL whilst others have said the OR did not. My contract did not mention BR but I still informed him of what was happening, he said he was not bothered as long as the rent was paid and the house was looked after. About 6 weeks after my BR I got a phone call from him to say the OR had been in touch. If your contract does not mention BR then you do not have tell them but in the end it is your decision.

I would be up front and tell them, you never know they could be sympathetic.

Hello wolfers, as Dojoman says it's your decision. I told mine and had no debts with them or was ever late paying, but the OR still wrote to my LL. So I was pleased I got in there first and LL seemed grateful too x
