Not Much Of A Multimedia Player Only Plays To Video Formats Mpeg1 And Mp40

Yes It Is Quite Good Actually If You Find Out A Bit More About It ;-)
i've got one, it's cheap because the firmware shipped has less support for divx / xvid / mp4 as well as wmv etc. if you actually looked at the comments on the ebuyer website against the product, you can see how to easily update it.
it has struggled with some of the mp4 podcasts on itunes, but it can handle most things.
https://www.mmv-club.com has more info...the vivitar version is a clone of the vosonic 83500 -
I have attempted twice to register with mmv club but have not had an activation email at either adress and if I try to log in I am told " you have not activated your details - go to your mailbox".0

I've one of these and love it.
I like the support for RAW format picture viewing.
The firmware is frequently updated, and they actually seem to listen to people posting on their forum for new features to be added.
It's a shame there's not mpeg2 playback, but according to the developers, it's not got a powerful enough processor in it to decode them.0 -

sorry if you've already considered this, but some mailboxes filter spam, you may want to check all your folders...also some mailservers are blacklisted to send from [eg blueyonder in some cases] so maybe try from a mate's pc.
it's worth getting the new firmware - 1.2.6 has just appeared last week.
if anyone can find a usb cable that fits please let me know. i've already tried the o2 xda IIs which fits perfectly but doesn't work :mad:0 -
Thanks Jimmy,
I did receive a reply the following day & installed the new firmware.
Very happy with the machine so far but still have to try all the facilities.0
