Newspaper voucher summary for Wednesday 23rd August 2006

Good Morning all,

Please post here if you get a Wednesday newspaper or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.

Important details are:
Page number
Whether its a regional edition
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether its store specific and has a barcode.
The cost of the newspaper

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can - Post even if you don't see any coupons and mention any offers that you see.

Do you think the Sun will EVER have the free meals coupons in again for Yates, Hogs Head and the Littern Tree etc ?
I keep checking on this thread, but even the money off coupons seem very thin on the ground, or is it because we had a couple of really good months in the spring ?
I cancelled my papers to save money, and can justify buying one when the money off coupon or vouchers mean I'm actually making money when I buy it....but I get one so rarely now that I feel out of touch with what is happening in the world.
Is anybody still out there ?
Who won the last election ?
Am I better off not knowing ??:cool:

Hello the old bag, the coupons and offers seem to come around like buses, so I have no doubt they'll return in bulk again. The positive thing is that everyone is still checking on the papers daily, so when they do reappear, we'll be the first to know.

The Sun coupon that I'm hoping will reappear at some point is the McCain's chip one - that was brilliant! And seeing that the Sun have done it twice in the last year, I'm really hoping they'll do it again...

Agree Dormouse the mccain's chips were a good offer especially as the bags of chips had vouchers on so I claimed a free picnic backpack. Hope there are some high value vouchers soon.
