CSA - change in circumstances

I thought this may be useful for some and save you making a phone call.
My partner pays child maintenance for two children at a reduced amount due to me having a daughter in full-time education that lives with us.
My daughter turned 19 on the 20th May, but as she is still at 6th form doing her exams, I still get family allowance until 6th September.
We thought that the CSA would work the same way, but we received a letter today to let us know that 'due to a change in circumstances' child maintenance will be going up.
My partner rang CSA and they said that they work differently to Family Allowance and once the child living in the non-resident parent's household has reached 19, even if they are still in full-time education (6th form) the calculations will still go up for CSA payments, as she no longer counts towards paying a reduced amount.

It will be similar for the children he pays maintenance for, when they reach 19th birthday it will stop, even if child benefit continues0
