Help wanted: lost BHS Choice points

Does anyone know what happened in the BHS Choice points scheme on their card last September?

I've had one of their points cards (not the credit card) since the scheme began and build up a discount each year. Not brilliant, but ok if you shop there anyway.

Each September, the year resets and your accumulated discount and/or points goes down - according to where you are on the scale. I was on holiday last year and received no mailing, so never noticed that I seem to have lost everything.

In April 2005, I had 5% + 15 points
In July 2005, I had 5% + 0 points
In January 2006, I had 0% + 3 points

Should have noticed before, I know.
Tried to check with BHS and they've told me all those with 5% and any points were reset to just 3 points last September - is this correct?

Was also told that next month (i.e. Sept 2006), if I have 5% discount, it will reset to 0% discount and 0 points - but if I have 0% + 9 points, I will be able to keep my 9 points. This sounds weird - can anyone help at all???

AFAIK from working there for a while........

If your not on 10% (5% + 25 points) discount by the end of september then your points will be wiped to 0.

If your on 10% and above then your card will be put down to 5%.

BHS are trying to phase these cards out so take care of it because replacements are not always available. Also make sure that the staff member who serves you enters the card into the 'choice machine' usually behind them......if they dont then the points havent gone on the card.
