Buying a shared family home?

Hello all...any tips or advice please??? The inherited family home in which i live has recently been valued at approx 240k. Between 6 this would equate to 40k each, If i wanted to try and buy my siblings out what would be the best approach? Has anybody experienced something similar and can advise how do mortgage companies and banks view this...ie is it more difficult to get a mortgage?
