Salary + Bonus Question

Salary + Bonus Question
Hi Guys,

Just a quick question.

If you saw a job advert and it said "£35,000 per annum plus bonuses (OTE up to £67,000 per annum)" does this mean you earn £35,000 and maybe a whole £67,000 on top

or

£35,000 and potentially £32,000 (to make it up to £67,000). ???

As njw69 and goggle said, it means your on target earnings could be £67k. I assume that you will have a very high target to meet to realise the additional £35k in bonus

    good luck though

Yep, I'd read it that if you worked your little socks off, out-performed every target you were set, won every award going, and sent the company rocketing to the top of their industry then you'd be in with a chance of getting £67k total.

In real terms, bank on earning £35k, and hope for a couple of grand extra on top.

Yep, call me cynical, but that's what life does to you after a while...........

The Job is with Slimming World. There are afew of these district manager jobs going around different patches of the country. The job is managing your patch of consultants so your bonus is dependent on how well your consultants perform.

In which case, I say DEFINITELY give up any hope of the OTE element of the package. It's one thing to be able to achieve the impossible yourself, but to be able to 'distance manage' other people into achieving the impossible on your behalf, nah, t'ain't ever gonna happen. And that's no reflection on your capabilities whatsoever.

Or maybe I'm just having a very negative day...........
