Cheaper version of Oreos?

Options
Okay, so I'm working on a cooking project that involves a LOT of oreos..

I'm trying to find out whether anywhere sells them on the cheap, or does their own/similar version of the biscuit..

Tesco currently stock them for 93p a box/packed and Asda for 83p per box/packet - but I'm trying to find them cheaper, or a cheaper alternative, as I need a lot!

For those unaware of what an oreo is..

They're a deep rich chocolate biscuit with white cream in the middle.

I've tried to think of somewhere that may do their own version but I'm coming up with nothing. They're basically a sandwhich biscuit. Hmm!

Any ideas? Anyone seen somewhere selling Oreos on the cheap?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

Try in Farmfoods if you have one.
They often have them on cheap in there, or even B&M or Home Bargains if you have either of those.

I got a packet from the Co-op for 47p last week, not sure if the offer is still on.

I'm pretty sure Aldi have their own version of Oreos which are no doubt a fair bit cheaper than the real thing.

Im sure I saw then in asda 2 for £1, offer might have changed though.
  • I checked Asda online, and there's no offer on at the moment :( But they are marginally cheaper than Tesco..

I'm going to check in my local Poundland this week to see whether they have them there on offer as mentioned above :D

...and can I volunteer? Anything involving Oreos needs to also involve me :D
