I would def try the savlon Amy. I thought it would burn, only put it on as a last resort to stop the darned itching and it felt really soothing and cool, plus all the itching and rash had gone within 24 hours

Lavender oil you say? I have some of that home, at least it will smell pretty. I am definitely waxing next time

Exfoliate! Do this once or twice a day then apply an even mixture of aloe-vera with vaseline. The vaseline stops the moisture being lost and the aloe calms down the reaction.

I'd say post shave balms can also help but they tend to sting. The best I have found is actually a mens version by Nivea- I used to use this on my legs when I overshaved as a 13yr old and it really helped. But does leave a scent so maybe not such a great idea on the day of the date!

All of the above and also cotton pants and a skirt until the rash goes away. 'Humidity' in the nether regions won't help the rash go away ;). Good luck :D

Hopefully it will preserve your chastity a while longer! :rotfl:

Seriously though, shaving your foo foo is not recommended. Wax/cream is better and longer lasting. Would you not have stubble by tomorrow anyway?

Thanks for giving me a good laugh btw, and good luck tomorrow!

Well...hot date (I say hot date, it was really just a bit of nookie) is cancelled. However, shaving rash is gone! Strange combination of savlon, lavender oil, exfoliation and cotton knickers. Booked myself for a wax next week!
