Bank Charges

Right I am stumped now,
Sent my three letters of to Natwest on the correct dates, they have only replied to the last letter which treatens legal action, they have sent me a letter saying there charges are fair for all to see when you open an account with them, they said they are giving me 4 weeks to provide proof of these charges that I am not happy with. Were do I go from here? do I just issue small claims papers or do i send my old statements in highlighting all the charges??
Any help will be much appreciated??

Did you send them a list of the charges you were claiming with any of your previous letters? Although at the end of the day, they will have details anyway of what they have charged you.
If you have sent all the correct letters and given the alloted timescales, this basically tells me that they have "not responded " to you in a satisfactory manner.
I personally would file the claim. I guess it wouldn't hurt to post the bank a list as well if you didn't send an actual breakdown to them in the first place. I was lucky, Halifax didn't bother me with statements for me to trawl through, they just sent it all nicely listed, so I just sent a copy back of that.
Good Luck with your claim.0
