Writing out your place-cards

Options
Place-cards,

My daughter has brought hers and wants me to write them out ( i have nice swirly handwriting apparently) However, im scared to put pen 2 paper incase i mess it up, i suppouse i could print out the names and then cut and stck them on but that dose'nt look to great either.

What's every one else doing?

Why do you think you will mess it up?

If it makes it easier, you can draw a faint pencil line to make sure that your names are straight?

Have a couple of practice goes - I don't know how many you've got to do, but if it's lots, then
have a rest part way through - or you will start making mistakes and you will get annoyed with
    yourself...!

If you make yourself some practice cards - make them the same size as the place cards, so that
you get used to the space available, and don't worry....!!

    Good Luck!

i made my own place cards using a template on the computer which gave you 4 to an a4 sheet of card.
I printed the names on and then cut them out with a craft knife.
An advantage of doing it this way is that you could print the names in the faintest grey shade and then using a thicker pen go over the name so it looks handwritten.
Alternatively i read somewhere that you can get rectangular clear stickers that can be printed onto so if you got some the same size as your place card they shouldn't look stuck on.

im buying the printable card (already scored out) i think from confetti £10 for 60 cards as i darent write them out plus my writing isnt swirly which i wanted lol
id defo try doin it faint first but the troubkle i find with writing over something already done is i mess up more-weird i know but i think the concentration of it puts me off and i end up going oever the lines lol
id try writing them out first as this way you get to practice and also you get the hang of everyones names :o
