Where have you got that information from? Try the NMC website. They do an enhanced CRB check but that doesn't include bankruptcy.

I can confirm that is 100% correct, I've just this week had my enhanced CRB check back, as expected it's not on there.

Ah shame it would not be suitablet for you to live in.

Well it seems there is some positive advice about the nursing in worse case scenario.

I hope you get things sorted and sorry that I can't be of much help

Sorry I've been away for awhile guys. Thank you for all your help. I am sooooo glad to hear about the nursing! The nursing advice was coming from a friend who has not long qualified as a nurse, and an ex-auxiliary nurse. I just thought it must have been true coming from two that used to be in the profession. I guess I was wrong.

I think I've just came to the conclusion that... I've lost. In a general way. I had this beautiful epiphany, and realising that has taken a load off my mind, like a weight has been lifted. Rather than being mad and agonizing over everything, I'm just gonna get the damn place sold, take the hit, and start again. And be a lot wiser for it.
  • aww Sarah, I hope everything goes smoothly for you and you get into nursing and can put this horrid experience behind you x
