Capital one - won back charges

Over £500 from a period when I was in the worst financial crisis of my life. I am back on my feet now but having paid the charges when I was down just made me feel sick with resentment. I put in the series of three letters, lodged my court papers last month and got a letter on Friday telling me there's a cheque on the way! You don't even have to attend a court to win them back.
The cheque will be with me in ten days. I emplore anyone who is owed any to give this a go.

This was the last hangover from my days in debt and now I can decorate my new spare bedroom with the money. Please people, look into it and if you're scared just give the site the once over! Martin has recommended it so give it a go.

Hi
Well done!
I won back nearly £900 from Capital One a couple of months ago---same route as yourself!
It is a great feeling isnt it?
I actually owed £890 on my card so it cleared it---would have taken me ages to pay that off!

And that is one of the best reasons to do it! Mine all feels like free cash now, but in all reality it's money I coughed up when I really couldn't afford to! I remember looking around my flat for small change to buy a pint of milk at one point, when the gits at CO had taken over £300 off me!!!!0 -

Can you still get them if you don't know how much you paid? I seem to remember my balance being around 180pounds with a credit limit of 200. By the time I started to pay it back it was nearly 700 with the amount of charges they added:rolleyes:0

Yes, go to the website mentioned above, the bank action group. You'll get step by step instructions, including how to find out how much you've paid in charges; you can go back 6 years. Good luck!Total debt May 2005 £83,232
