My OH's birthday is on monday and although we have agreed not to spend much at all (mine is next month) I would like to make him a little 'student survival kit' as he is about to go back to college (to train as a music teacher. He's a musician now).
CAn anyone help with any cheap, funny ideas?
Thanks
Sarah

Hi there,
Make him up a lunch box filled with pens, pencils jotter books etc from somewhere like Tesco who are doing special offers (pencils/pens for £1 Ringpads 70p), a water/juice bottle to take drinks instead buying them from the shop/vending mcs. Buy a cheap schoolbag & fill it with all the small bits & pieces he'll need. If you can look up his course content something there might give you an idea (second hand recorder/tin whistle etc)
Hope this is of some help & wish him good luck for the course.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member No: 280 :T

you can usually pick up an academic year diary for a couple of quid - very useful to have one that runs aug - july.Debt free 4th April 2007.
