Sainsburys pass your details to YES Loans
Both my friend and me applied for a loan with Sainsburys. We were both turned down. Soon afterwards we were both being harrassed with phone calls from YES Loans, I got 13 calls within 36 hours. My friend was taken in by them and agreed to pay a fee of around £50/60 on her debit card. Later she realised she'd made a mistake and the only way to stop the payment was to cancel her Debit Card and request a new one from her bank, (although she doesn't know yet if she was in time).
She was also taken in at the same time by another company (part of Yes Loans), who said they could recalim her Credit Card costs. Fortunately she didn't pay the fee and later realised it was a scam and was part of the same company as Yes Loans. Both companies had the same address!! BEWARE.
