Data entry/virtual assistant

Options
Hi I'm looking to work from home doing data entry or internet research type jobs. Every thing I see online though seems to be a scam. Any decent companies out there that you know of?

Take a look in the other opportunities section here: http://talk.sureboom.com/

Nothing you find on there will be a scam!

I used to work as an internet assessor for Lionbridge

    You can apply here
    http://www.lionbridge.com/lionbridge/en-us/company/web-site/internet-assessors.htm

Pay is good, well above minimum wage.

I lost my job with them in November and am looking for something similar as the at home job I am doing now (call centre) isn't really my thing, so I will be reading this thread with interest.

If you don't mind answering the question in public, why did you lose your job?

They let a huge chunk of UK raters go just before Christmas. I was with them for almost 2 years, with a high level of work, so quite a shock. They are recruiting again now, but due to the nature of the work you cannot reapply for the same role.

I lost my job last month too, despite being told my standard of work was very good. Sad to lose the job. I started with 63336 last week. :o

  • It would be no good for anyone in London as the required field in the application is REGION and there is not a selection for London, or Greater London, or even M25, so no Londoners can apply

It's rubbish!!! Got the highest grade for the last six months but it didn't matter to them. Have you thought about 63336? I don't know what the pay will be like (dependent on speed) but it uses our skills and is kind of addictive. ;)
