I dont know why I bothered. Having saved the coupons, then sent off a couple of times before for Sun offers , which never get sent / arrive, I pledged never to do one again.

However, I did think id collect the tokens for the England t-shirt offer as you collect them from the actual JJB shops.

Got to their megastore in Solihull just after opening today (the first day you can get them) , and they have no kids sizes at all. Not sold out - just didnt have or ever have any , and nor do any other JJB local stores apparently.

What a scam. Its okay if your the regular fat bellied pig England fan who wants XXL, but I only did this for the nipper. :D

The Sun customer hotline offered to exchange it if I posted it to them . Yeh right .... waste more time money doing that , only for it too deissapear. They did say they would also ring me back.... more chance of Heskey scoring a hat-trick !

  • sorry they didnt have any in the size you wanted but do you really have to insult other England fans in your rant.

I for one read the Sun daily so its no hardship to collect the vouchers and am grateful for a freebie.

I got mine today and the info in the paper said S, M, L, XL no mention from the start of the promotion of kids sizes.
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
    £1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

  • I'm no fan of The Sun but that rant is a bit unjustified - it's hardly uncommon for t-shirts only to be available in adult sizes, seems like a a perfectly reasonable deal.

This thread is a bit misleading and an unfair sleight against The Sun (and as mentioned, unnecessary abuse towards other England fans)

No mention of 'nipper' sizes or XXL come to that. But why so rude?

I got my Free Sun Newspaper T-shirt today, went to one branch of JJB Sports to be told sorry out of stock,More coming on Friday.I asked nicely if they could phone another branch of JJB Sports and they did that and they managed to reserve me a t-shirt so that my journey wasnt wasted.I had tried to reserve at the 1st Store and they went sorry we cant reserve.I went to a 2nd branch in another town 2 hours away max and got the t-shirt just before they closed at 5.30pm as I got to the 2nd store for 5pm.

    THE SUN DELIVERED PERFECTLY !!!!

I suggest you learn to read

There were NEVER going to be Kids sizes available. (Or XXL for that matter)

Plain as day from the very 1st day - a week last Saturday I knew this was going to be the case
Just Small, Medium, Large and Xtra Large.
Apart from the fact that ALL the pictures featured ADULTS

My nearest store had 500 to give out today - 400 went in the first 2 hours.

They've ordered another lot that's going to come in tomorrow ...

... and I got exactly what I wanted - FIVE very nice, good quality shirts in just the sizes I wanted :)

Okay - my expectation was that 'small' was for the kids - turns out they arent.
Seems a shame they havent done a kids size though.

Apologies to any England fans that arent xxl :rotfl: But hey , according to the news , all England fans are hooligans anyway :(

The facts are that we have posted 3 times to The Sun with vouchers for different offers, including stamps and once a 20p coin. (James Bond mp3 , HSM book, Black Beauty dvd) We never received ANY of the items we sent off for , and neither did my cousin. So I do have some reason to complain.

And if I was ranting , then some of the people who replied should look at their own replies as well..

Chill out everybody anyway - its a Bank Holiday !
