Wedding dress advice

Hi fellow brides!

Could really do with some advice!

I get married in August and have had my dress since last July. Currently i can just get the zip up - which is good, its a zip back, but boned, so i dont want it 'loose'. My issue is that my chest is too big for the dress! I am getting squished and in the photos ive took of myself you can see the lines where I am almost inverting lol!

I know that dresses can be let out, but can this be done for the front?!

here's a link to me in my dress for reference!

Iam hoping to lose some weight before the big day, but worried it wont come off in the right places!

    gorgeous dress x
why dont you have a corset back put in then a modesty panel added which will then lace up and fit you perfectly
it depends on the seemstress how much itl cost so best asking one by you for a rough quote
our resident dress maker linda will hopefully come along and say if theres another alternative or not

yeah i would get a corset back made, with a modesty panel, that way you can have it as tight at some bits and as loose at other bits as you like.

But is that a line of buttons going right down the back of the dress? A corset back will ruin that line...

I don't know about letting it out, a seamstress will be able to tell you after having a good look but do lots of back toning exercises so you don't get any back cleavage (!!!) if you have to fit into it rather than getting it let out, I have no idea about making your boobs shrink though, mine are teeny so I have the opposite problem!

The back has buttons all the way down to the train, so I really dont want to turn it into a corset back - no offence but they just dont suit me, and i love buttons!

i am going to try and lose weight anyway but at the moment i am prob 2 cup sizes too big - my back has shrunk since the back cleavage pics on there, so thats not so much of an issue, its just the front. i dont want to be squished, or falling out!!!

Thanks for the feedback girls, maybe i can find a strapless minimiser bra lol!

ps thanks for the compliments :)

Oh I hope you don't think I was rude about back cleavage, I just wanted to point out that sometimes the back is overlooked and people forget what it looks like because they don't see it! I'm going to be doing loads of back toning exercises in the run up to my wedding so everything looks as it should!

Talk to a good bra shop and hopefully they will be able to sort you out with something that'll keep your chest under control! You do look lovely in the dress, you've got curves that I dream of!

i dont think you were rude at all - ive been to a few weddings where theres back cleavage and its sad that they didnt have the dress a bit looser!

have been on the rowing machine, but it doesnt do anything for boobs lol!
