on the BM turkey breast slices packet it says it's made from 100% breast meat...and on the back it says 'reformed' turkey breast...defo going in the bin0 -
Isn't everything cancer forming though?: The plastic in bottles (BHA) which is not allowed in babies bottles for the same reason, the ingredience in deoderants and some skin care products which is found in cancer cells, tampons, talccom powder, hair dye, too much red meat per week (ie more then once or twice a week), fizzy drinks, the charcole from burnt/barbequed/chargrilled foods, the sun.....0

Saying that it's made from 100% breast meat is a rather cunning marketing ploy, of course it doesn't mean that what's in the pack is 100% breast meat. After all, I imagine it's also made with 100% salt!WaxiesDargle wrote: »on the BM turkey breast slices packet it says it's made from 100% breast meat...and on the back it says 'reformed' turkey breast...defo going in the binStompa0 -
A bit of inside info here..... my ex husband used to work for BM in their factory in Suffolk briefly. It was the worst job her ever had, and the horror stories he came home with made me sick!!!! He said the 'food' was all like white gluey gunk coming through tubes. I'll never eat their stuff againHe who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
If you really cant knit very well, then practise drumming with the needles...

It probably is breast meat. Its just not meat cut directly off the bird, packed up and sold to the customer.
Its every single bit of meat that can be stripped of the carcass. Pulped into a paste with other ingrediants. Then reformed into something that looks like a block of cheese to be sliced, packed up and sold on as sliced meat. Or it can be formed into pretty much anything, burgers, twizzlers, mini bites etc.
If you want value for money and quality. But your own turkeys, chickens, cook them and slice yourself. Its not easier but it is cheaper, tastier and better for you.0
