Hi does anyone have any ideas on getting promotion code for the AA. If I go through rpoints I can get a deal but when I am redirected to AA it says enter your promotion code for further discount and I cant find one. Any ideas?
Oh no, not you again!:money:

Does it have to be the AA? Martin has written an article on recovery companies and for only £32 a year you could join autoaid which is far far cheaper than the main companies, they have had a good review on these forums by the customers (I am a member, but have never claimed so cannot comment) the catch is that you have to pay upfront to the rescue company that they send out, but you claim it back in full from them. I dont mind having the hassle of making a claim if it saves me nearly £100 a year.

p.s. here is the link to martins article http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1094823518,14076, search autoaid on the forum search to get feedback on them.0 -

The Blue Badge scheme is the scheme for disabled drivers (used to be the Orange Badge scheme in the UK until the European Union came along).
The criteria for getting a blue badge is:
*You receive the higher rate of the mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance.
*You receive a War Pensioners´ Mobility Supplement.
*You use a motor vehicle supplied for disabled people by a Government Health Department.
*You are registered blind.
*You have a severe disability in both upper limbs, regularly drive a motor vehicle but cannot turn the steering wheel of a motor vehicle by hand even if that wheel is fitted with a turning knob.
*You have a permanent and substantial disability, which means you are unable to walk or have very considerable difficulty in walking. In this case you may be asked to answer a series of questions to help the local authority determine whether you are eligible for a badge. People with psychological disorder will not normally qualify unless their impairment causes very considerable, and not intermittent, difficulty in walking.

There is currently 'a bit' of mis-use of blue badges though and some organisations only accept proof in the form of a Disabled Drivers Tax Disc (from the DVLA).0 -
Also - does the Quidco cashback also work with a further AA promo code? I wasn't brave enough to try it with the 2500 bonus Nectar points voucher... =o(0

If you talk to them on the phone just explain the other prices you have got from other companies and you would like to either stay with or join the AA but at the prices they are giving you can't do it.
They wanted £159.50 from me for renewal but after a nice chat they dropped this to £100
If you don't ask you don't getLooking to raise some money0
