FTBers - how much are your mortgage payments?

Out of interest, I wondered how much everyone took as their monthly payments when they first bought their house?

assuming they bought within the last 5 years or so...

Pure nosiness!

2009: 85% LTV, repayment mortgage fixed at 5.84% for 3 years, monthly repayment = £780. However we overpay by £100 per month in order to pay it off early / not risk losing the house if one of us were to be made redundant. Could rent a similar house for about the same in local area. Best thing is: we love it!

(not mine, but someone i know)

2010, 100% mortgage, repayment fixed for 3 years at 5.99%, £560 per month
  • In 2007 my wife and I took out 90%, 3 year fixed @ 5.69 with Skiptons which was £1,100 per month. Overpaid by about £500 a month and just managed to remortgage at 75% LTV 5 year fixed at 4.75% with the Post office.

    Good times!

75% LTV taken out in Dec. Three year tracker. Can't remember other details. Borrowed £177,500 - payments are a bit over £800.
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

My wife and I bought our first house 3 years ago for £225k on a 100% mortgage. We overpay by about £250 per month and pay a total of £1500.

The overpayment is really making a difference.
