Employer keeps underpaying me!!!

Hi there,
For the past few months, my employer (John Lewis) has been underpaying me any overtime I have been doing. Every month after I have been paid, I have to keep going in and explaining that they have yet again got my pay wrong and they owe me x amount of money. I then have to wait another month to see that money, however the next month they then continue to make the same problem and every month I seem to be more out of pocket. Can I demand the cash upfront once they have confirmed the mistake or is it in their legal rights to make me wait another month. Do I have any rights to get access to my money any quicker?
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks
Danny

You need to look at your contract, there will be something in there that clarifies things.
Are you giving them your extra hours early enough.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
As McKneff says are your extra hours being recorded and approved accordingly?
Are you aware of the dates that each pay period runs to and from so you are certain of what you should be paid each month?
Have they explained the error to you? Is it human error or os there a specific reason they are getting it wrong?
Do they offer an IOU service that they can then recover from your next salary when the adjustment has gone through?
Have a chat with the payroll clerk and get to the bottom of it.
Hope you get it resolved soon.Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -
Because, for example, we have a 'system' for 'extra' hours worked (therefore like your overtime) which means that those hours worked in May won't be paid until the end of June. By the middle of June, I'll get confirmation of who's worked what extra hours in May, and I'll pass that to Payroll, and they'll do the sums and run payroll, and everyone will get their 'normal' hours for June plus their 'extras' for May at the end of June.
No other sane way of doing it, IMO.Signature removed for peace of mind0
