I currently have my debts being managed by the CCCS and i am now in a position thanks to some help from my dad that i may be able to clear a few of the debts, however most of the debts were passed to 3rd party companies eg Aktiv kapital, outstanding services, do i make these an offer of full & final settlement or the origianl company that the debt was with, also i i contacted one company last week and they just wont budge, would it hold any weight to get say a friend of mine who is a chartered accountant to write on my behalf?? any info will be great

make your proposal to the company currently dealing with you i.e. the 3rd parties. in some cases it may turn out that they dont actually own the debt but are merely managing it, in which case they may pass it back to the original company.
whether or not they accept your proposal will depend upon a number of factors like how long ago you defaulted, how much they bought the debt for, level of your current payment, amount of your offer etc. etc.
whether you write or some else writes doesnot make any difference.
make sure you get a clear letter of acceptance of your proposal and dont pay by debit card or credit card (if you have one of course).0
