Moving to London

I've never lived 'down south' myself so can't judge what it's like though. It always seems like a pain to get to from Central London
Hmm, I've never had a problem. Not any more so than any other part of London I've had to travel to late at night. There's always the night bus if you want to stay out late! Depends how you feel about buses I suppose.
Most of the people I know who don't live in the south THINK it's a pain, because they don't live there! It takes 9 minutes to get from Lewisham to London Bridge on a direct train. Roughly 12 mins to Charing Cross. If you're taking the tube, once you've changed lines a few times it can actually take longer to get there from somewhere closer!
As with anywhere in London, getting from one outskirt to another takes the time as there usually aren't direct links. (Getting from Lewisham to Loughborough Junction the other day was a particular pain) Getting to central is easy from most places. There's a reason for that - it's the centre! It's where all the trains are headed!0 -
