It is addictive. I can't help myself. I have too much to do without spending hours on this! Like disertation, portfolio, exam, 4 kids, OH, housework:eek: The list is endless! But no. here I am reading pages of threads getting totally engrossed in them. Also becoming a total money saving bore! I'm sure I was even dreaming about ways to feed the family for under a pound last night!

You are soo right!....I have much that needs doing...but bit's of that get done inbetween hours on here:o

I know exactly what you mean - I've been trying to limit myself to one hour per day, but I can't do it!!!! :eek:

Sometimes I swear I'm only saving money because I spend all day on here.

I've added it to the list of addictions to kick: cigarettes done, diet coke & MSE to go :rotfl:

Seriously will need to limit myself! OH has declared that I am officially obsessed with money saving when I asked Him to work out how much pasta we used for dinner so that I could work out the cost of the meal!

I have about 4 weeks to go till the end of my course so I need to motivate myself to get some work done ... But it's probably the first time in my adult life that I have been in controls of my money rather than my money (or lack of it) being in control of me!

Oh I'm getting all philosophical now... I think i'll go and pour myself another glass of wine.... cheap Aldi stuff of course!

I balance the feelings of guilt due to the amount of time I spend on the site with the feelings of euphoria I get whenever I save (or make) money as a result of it. This happens so often (virtually every time I log on) that I've begun to feel like I'm getting paid to sit here surfing. I don't think I'll be cutting my hours back any time soon

I'm getting the 'Are you on that site again???' treatment from OH too! Although when I pointed out that we are in less debt now than we have been throughout the whole of our (10 year) relationship so far, he was quite impressed. I really ought to go to bed now, but I might just have a read of just one more thread......
