advice please endowment shortfall

hi all '
My mortgage ends next april and my 2 endowment will have a shortfall of about 10'000 i think.
Should i get a loan or remortage for a short period, would also like some new windows if any money is left.

How long have you known there would be a shortfall ? It would have been better to start overpaying earlier, if possible. The options now are limited. How much can you afford to overpay each month ? Will the lender permit overpayments ?
It may be better to overpay and lengthen the maturity date by a year.
