Hi
I dont know if people can advise me - I joined the above company via a link on thetrainline.com in Oct last year. It basically stated that if I joined I would get £10 off my next booking with the trainline. I did this, and recieved the voucher which I used.
There was no mention of a fee, just that is was free to join. I didnt hand over any bank details - I have since discovered they have been charging me £10 a month to the card that I used to book the train ticket. I cant believe they have been able to do this, and I am now £80 down for a service I didnt agree to/want or have used since!!
Has anyone else experienced this? Can I demand a refund, given this agreement was obviously in the small small print so I had no idea what I was signing up for? Is this something the financial ombudsmen can assist with?
Any help gratefully appreciated!

Sadly not reading the small print is no defence!
However, do a quick search using the search tool , there was a thread about it not so long back and I'm sure people got their money back.
Good luck!

Read the above thread and in future, read what you sign up to. Ignorance is no defence, it is stated that it is a contract, you not bothering to read the small print doesn't absolve you of blame.0
