I have eaten very healthily so far today, and although I'm trying to lose weight I am getting better at allowing myself the odd treat and stopping at one small portion!
I am feeling uninspired foodwise but I really want something sweet. Here's what I have got:
SR flour, granulated sugar, 2 eggs, lots of milk, a bit of margarine, a little cocoa, some strawberries, some grapes, some pears, some tired old apples, a packet of ready-to-use crumble mix, oats, sunflower seeds, almonds, dried apricots and prunes. And a tin of 'summer fruits'.
Any suggestions for a tasty pud? I'll just have a nibble, promise, but OH deserves a tasty dessert and will enjoy what I don't have!

How about a choc sponge baked over the top of either the apples or the summer fruits - using the marg, eggs, sr flour, sugar and cocoa.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

It's not exactly like mine, which I'll post another time, but I don't bother to cook the fruit unless I use cooking apples. It's great with tinned fruit too.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
How about a summer fruits crumble? Something like this with less sugar in the fruit and the crumble made with granulated sugar? http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/rhubarbcrumble_11396.shtml0
