i haven't gotten my petticoat yet but i'm really interested in dying it when i do get it, big thanks to mrs moore to be who found online that it could be done.

i've got a question though and wondered if anyone could answer it for me. in any of the articles online they all seem to use RIT dye and have used it in a toploading washing machine.

i'm just wondering do you think the handwash dylon packets would work just as well? i've never dyed anything by putting the dye in the washing machine before and i just don't want to risk screwing it up.

has anyone else out there dyed a crinoline petticoat before and if so how did you do it?

thanks in advance
