Big big thanks - just ordered. I've been thinking of trying a couple of climbing roses to cover a garage wall, and this is a very MSE way of doing it!

If you add the code DM183W on the homepage this will cancel the £2.95 so all you pay is £4.50. Can't take credit for this as it was on the tree peony thread. Just ordered mine and the code still works

Thanks OP, the roses look fab :D

Thanks Kimmee, It shouldn't be adding extra if your only supposed to pay the p+p.:)

Exactly - but it does (well it did to me as well as some other posters) unless you use the code. I've ordered a number of things from this site and although it can take a while for them to arrive, they do eventually and have got some good bargains :D
  • Can anyone tell me how long you wait for delivery of the roses. I paid the postage and the extra £2.95 as I did not know at the time you could put a code in to have the extra removed at check out. This was approx 30 days ago and I have heard nothing since I have emailed the company asking when there dispatch time would be but they have not replied.

    Thanks

Venita, you may know this already but roses are often supplied in bare root form for planting immediately you receive them and this is most likely to be in the autumn around November -ish. I just had a look at their website and it mentions roses in bare root and despatch from October to March. If you cannot plant immediately, keep the plant in cool dark place in its plastic bag and keep the roots moist, if roots dry out the plant will have great difficulty surviving.
When you ordered, did the description mention bare root and autumn delivery?
The company are part of Thompson and Morgan, well known for seeds etc according to their website. Dare I say, an offshoot?
