£5k holiday of a lifetime? scam

I received a call yesterday telling me I had won a holiday of a lifetime to anywhere in the world for a family of 4, for filling in a survey. It was a foreign woman and the number was withheld.
I was asked where I wanted to go, I was in shock and disbelief, and told her europe as I didn't want to fly and she told me someone would ring back in 2 days to take my holiday details?

I am not expecting anything, has anyone had a call like this?

I'll be honest & say that it sounds like a scam to me.I've won two big holiday prizes in the last few years.On both occasions I have been emailed with genuine details.I have then been able to speak to the promotor & obtain genuine details from them.I have been able to track the comp back & google the promotors details.
Await the call but proceed with caution & do not pay out anything up front.A prize should not need payment.

if its a scam it will involve some sort of "booking fee" of around £49-99 per person

I used to believe that up til a year ago Now those too good to be true nearly always are true!! xx
