    Thanks all for your comments.

I kinda already decided that I will do it and you have just all confirmed that I should :) So I will sign up for it.

I am single with no kids so it won't effect home life, and I'll make new friends so it would improve social life!

I would say definitely go for it. I have just at the end of the social work degree and had many years experience working in a related field.

I thought I 'knew' myself and was reflective but the degree has boosted my personal development by 100%. So although the actual academic stuff wasn't particularly new to me, what I have learnt as well as this has had a huge positive impact on my life.

Sitting here now £20k in 'debt'....I prefer the term 'career development arrears!' I would say if I got the chance of a free degree I would bite their hand off!!

It has been worth it as well as I have a job when I finish!!

    Absolutely the right decision. :T

I can't believe you ever considered not doing it!

Who knows, you may find an employer willing to fund an MA in the future.

Can only echo what the others have said.

Another point to bear in mind is that as you are already working in a related field you might find that your experience means that many areas of the work will come easily to you and it might not be as hard going on your free time as you anticipated.
