My wife work for the Co-Op and is a weekend manger but end up getting all the crap jobs that should be done during the week. Her boss is useless but its convenient to work there as the hours suit because the kids are at school.
I was wondering if anyone know if there is any progression like regional manager\supervisor and the best way to apply because if she left and went some where else she mite start at the bottom again.
Her manager is not approachable so she cant really ask her.

With a shop like the co-op a lot of the vacancies for other stores are word of mouth, I woould advice to keep her ear to the ground and then move to another store with a more supportive manager. When she is there then think about working her way up?The World come on.....0

Yes i would have thought so, if theres vacancies then staff apply for them0

There would be no reason for her to start at the bottom if she went for another retail job; her experience with the Co op would be recognised.0
