I still haven't had my bacon sarnie!!! I do have bacon in the fridge right now though ;).

It's too cold today :(, had to put the front room heater on and I can see it burning money already! I had a longgggggggggg sleep :D, I got out of the shower last night and laid on the bed, OH joined me and we just ended up going to bed, it was ony about 10.30 :rotfl:. Well I succumbed to a further bout of Xmas shopping last night :o, Asda were doing litre bottles of Baileys for £9 if you had it delivered before Monday (found out after ordering that it's instore as well but delivery was only £3 and I would have spent that in petrol getting there!) so ordered 2 bottles for mine and OH's mum, got 3 bottles of really good red wine for his dad for £10 (most of the bottles were priced individually at £7/£8!) and I bought OH some bottles of Ale for his Xmas hamper. They are being delivered tonight between 7pm and 9pm.

I was moaning at work yesterday that loads of presents I had ordered hadn't turned up then at lunch 5 arrived :o. Still got a few more to come yet, then I will start my wrapping mission! Still not recieved my cheque from Music Magpie yet either , will have to get in touch with them next week.

Today I will be mostly tidying up and doing some revision I think, I'm working tomorrow night so need to make the most of today :D

    It turned up today :rotfl:

Just had my Asda order turn up................can't say I am impressed .

Whoever packed it put 3 bottles of wine, 6 bottles of beer and two litre bottles of baileys in a plastic case with no packing or anything. As soon as the driver turned up he said he'd had a problem....he went over a speed bump and a bottle of red and a bottle of the beer had smashed! He said he had already put in for a refund for me but couldn't tell me how much I had been refunded when I asked how it worked with them being on offer. The wine was 3 for £10 so do I get refunded £3.33 or what? *roll eyes*, to top it all off two of the bottles of beer that I was going to put away for Xmas for OH have their lids damaged and are leaking so I've had to give them to him now! Not an overly successful first experience! Have emailed my work mate as her OH works as a manager at my local store to see if he can advise me, should I complain do ya think or I am just being picky?

    :(

I would complain Jody at the end of the day you paid £3 for them to deliver a product to you in perfect condition thay failed to do that. Plus if you had of gone to store would you have picked the beer bottles that were damaged (nope) so why do you have to accept that when they deliver it.

Ive heard that ASDA delivery is not very good 2b honest never had it myself but SIL has and she said it was horrendus and would never do it again. Doesn't help you now I know but 4future ref ect

    Hi Jody

Good news on the cheque, finally!

I hope you complained to about the beer, I think generally they just refund without arguing, very frustrating though x

Even the driver commented that many customers said they prefer Tesco delivery :rotfl:. I emailed them from my account last night, although that in itself was a bit of a mission as I typed this great, well worded message about my disappointment blah blah but when I hit submit it said my message can't be over 1000 characters!

Was tempted to write 'delivery was a complete epic fail on your behalf because some moron thought 10 glass bottles rolling around in a plastic crate was a good idea, needless to say it wasn't, refund please' :rotfl:

Obviously I didn't but I'll see what they reply! Managed to get OH's calendar ordered from Vistaprint, it took me ages to pick the pictures and add dates etc but I was pleased with the end result. It ended up costing £5.24 with the added bits and postage but I still think that's good for a fully customised calendar. Being a skinflint I chose slow delivery which could be up to 21 days but should still be here in time for Xmas :T

Lots of stuff endind on Ebay today :), I've sold it all which is good! This will all help for savings. Looking forward to the end of the week when I get paid so I can do all my savings transfers and let you know my new totals. Working tonight and not sure how boring it's going to be but it's another £50 for savings.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday x

Hoping my Tesco one turns up ok tonight then - first time I've used them. Being stingy have chosen the cheapest slot so will be awaiting delivery at 11pm tonight!

I would have sent the epic fail message to Asda - would have been interesting to see their response! :D

Me too - I think that's awful. You should not only get a refund for the broken items, but your delivery too and they should replace the broken items for free (although not sure how that would be done as bought on an offer).

I've never had any issues with Tesco, when the drivers arrive they always know if anything is missing and what has been substituted. Swapped items come in a different colour bag and everything. The drivers are always really friendly too!

Still not had a reply yet Kat but would be nice if they refunded me all of that! My work colleague seems to think they will refund me the actual retail price of what was broken, regardless of the offer...that would be nice as it would be around £10. I wont hold out too much hope though :rotfl:. Bit of a long night at the pub and feeling quite knackered today although I did find a pound coin in my pocket which was a nice surprise!

Got loads of stuff to pack for Ebay tonight too!
