Pooky~But why would MS suddenly rear its ugly head?
Where is that confused smiley when ya need it?

From what the neurologist told us (and what I've read) MS can be triggered by trauma to the spinal cord (i.e. the damage to his spine in the accident) if you were going to get it in later life.....it can bring it on earlier. His symptoms fit MS to the letter (although I do appreciate they differ from person to person) I actually voiced it last year but no one would listen to me.......will see what these test results bring.

Sleeping bags are quite squishy - have you tried getting it in your washing machine?

Should dry in no time in this weather.
Thank you so much. I wish there was a double thanks button for saving me money :T I've just fought it out onto the line (it is the size of a small lightweight double duvet). The edges were wetter than the middle, but the whole thing smelt of washing and looked clean. Hopefully it will dry tomorrow (no way it will dry tonight as garden is currently in shade and relatively cool). It never occurred to me it might fit in the machine, as it would never have fitted in the one in our rented place, so I got used to taking it to the laundrette.

I've popped my next load in and am getting over the fight with the clothes props and the sleeping bag by looking for some comps to enter before DH comes home and steals back the PC :D

Pooky, would it help with treatment and support if they do decide it is MS?

I've no idea.....they're very cagey about telling us anything until the results are back....the neurologist did say a few weeks back that the prognosis for the future might not be great but we only go by day to day....what happens next month or next year isn't worth worrying about at the moment.

Glad the sleeping bag washed ok - amazing what you can cram into a machine if you have to.

Ultimately day to day is all the certainty we have. By focussing on enjoying what we can, not missing/wanting what we can't, my Mum and I have had some great times.
