Many moons ago, I bought a new car. All was good, but after a while the newness departed and I bought myself neutradol smellies (the blue one) and it made the car smell fresh and clean again.
Anyone know of either a much cheaper alternative with a similar smell or a way to make my own = ) I did see the gel thread about making essential oil smellies but I'm fairly sure they don't do 'carfresh essential oils' anywhere nearby!

I use Magic tree lavender, I realise they only mask another smell but they are cheaper than Neutradol0

I love the smell of new cars!
Mine just stinks now! :rotfl:0 -
I have a few unsightly stains from my lovely ex who on one short car journey with her mother in the back ("oh dear you really don't look well, are sure you're not going to be sick" repeated over and over again until even I thought I'd was going to go!).
They were part of the insurance job I blagged but didn't get valeted out. Since then I've been concious of this water staining on the seats. Stardrops? Is the bicarb a solution spray? I've not done that yet... I've got an old shower cleaner bottle that is empty and ready for such a use...Tim0 -
Tried them all over the years when I had a whole succession of "loan cars" from various companies wanting me to replace the fleet with them and back then I smoked.
Only one that really works is Neutradol, just dont buy the stick on car one as its about £2 and lasts for 15 minutes, get the full size one in a tub and drop it into one of the door pockets0 -
This one wasn't a stick on but in a little packet - quite expensive though. Didn't think about sticking the full size neutradol in though. I've got the perfect 'cup holder' for it in my fiesta under the central consoleTim0
