But i have a question. I am on a DMP its been going for 6 months now,all is going wellsome are still charging horrendous amounts of interest but thats another story i dont think they have left us nearly enough to live on we have no allowance for birthdays/ christmas's none for entertainment & as i have a 1 year old & im 7 months pregnant the money we are given is spent on clothes, food, nappies milk etc. The OH managed to get a £100 a month payrise which has been an absolute godsend. The only thing is we havent told our DMP provider as i know they will take it off us. My absolute biggest fear is being taken to court for a CCJ & i imagine if that happened we would have to declare that extra money & its the only thing keeping us going. Im so worried that when baby number 2 arrives we will be really screwed. I dont want to lower the amounts to payplan for fear of creditors rejecting the DMP where at the moment all but one has agreed. I just feel like im living in constant fear of the postman bringing me the court papers & i wonder if i should just go bankcrupt. Sorry for the moan but i am really down today, although creditors have agreed our debt isnt really going down that much due to interest.

Are you with Payplan funky (I seem to recall you are- oh it says you are in your post!).
I really think you need to redo your budget with them to take into account those extra bits and pieces you haven't had.
I know you say you don't want to but it sounds like you cannot go on as you are now. I suppose you could wait until you have baby 2 and then adjust it then (which is reasonable as you'll then need living costs for a family of 4 not 3), so can't really see creditors will kick up a fuss to be honest.
I wouldn't worry too much about the payrise at the moment (maybe when you have your next annual review).
If you were taken to court for a CCJ then I'm sure you could produce a SoA that shows you are paying the right amount (as you'll be able to show the higher income but offset it against £100 extra living costs).
You will get there eventually - do keep on asking for your creditors to reduce your interest. There is a template on national debltline asking them to reconsider, if that doesn't work then you could always try asking them to reduce interest (I know some have been dropped to 2% or so which is still a lot better than full interest).
Do keep with it, and you will get there (and besides looking after your family is much more important than allowing this to stress you out).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
