Departure Excessive Housing Costs?

Hi again,

Well, Tribunal next week, and all preparation just about complete, but received another document from Tribunal today, from PWC (who cannot attend next week - she's prob in Maldives or off skiing - sorry!), who is now stating that she thinks my housing costs are excessive and she wants to apply for a departure on these grounds, if Tribunal do not reduce my housing allowance in the CS1 assessment????

Well, does this woman never give up? She has also stated sh wanted departure regarding my wife being able to contribute - she has had this departure since 2005 - silly moo :)

So, in a nutshell, bought house in 2005 for £215k, mortgage is interest only and is for £187k, so, the house itself is 4 bed detatched in a modest Leech estate, and monthly repayments are £762. As we have my wife and I, 3 teenagers (16, 18 and 19) in the house and also a wee 4 year old, does anyone think these costs are excessive??

Would PWC be successful? Just doesn't cease to amaze me, this woman is incredible, she's like a Terrier on someones trouser leg - mine???

How do CSA decide what is excessive housing, I fail to see if there aare 6 of us in the household how having a modest 4 bed house is excessive - if it were a Ranch fair enough, but on a bog standard estate,

Any views appreciated

:D you and your trouser leg have my sympathies :rotfl:

However this is to be expected, the ante is going to be upped considerably in the coming months as this 'terrier' is nearly out of time (and she knows it) so I expect you to be here regularly updating us on the batty and bonkers deeds of your terrier as she loudly and dementedly runs out of time. :D:rotfl::beer:

I expect her to throw the book at you when it comes to mental pwc antics, so you best not be keeping them to yourself or there'll be trouble from BB:mad: ........................... either that or you could get lucky and she might just give it up and lose the energy required to stick the boot into you so i'll keep my fingers crossed that you get lucky. However, from your previous posts your pwc sounds like ours and we have never had any luck with ours :rotfl: lol:tongue:

Thanks BB, she should have been sectioned years ago, surely it is not healthy to be bitter and twisted for in excess of 16 years, toward an ex? I would just like to add, I do pay weekly CS monies to her! It took me several years to eventually leave her due to her concerning behaviour

Anyway lets just see what this next week brings, and then look forward to the next variation/departure regarding excessive housing costs, then she will appeal the decision when it doesn't go in her favour, then she will take it to Tribunal, and there the whole process starts again. Needless to say a waste of (us) taxpayers money, it goes without saying she is not in this sector - on benefits of course!! ;)

Just a big thanks to all of you regulars for words of support, it means a lot, in a few days we will either be just about homeless, or justice/sense will have been done, with CSA who knows we wait and see :(
  • Hi Bdt, I would certainly hope she is not allowed this tactic, excessive housing costs, she's having a huge laugh, surely!!!! I hope the tribunal see through her and stop further waste of their time and yours, AND tax payers money. This makes my blood boil, especially seeing I'm also a PWC about to go through tribunal process, but my ex pays not one penny and my grounds are fair and right. She needs a good slap by the tribunal service. Hope she gets one ...once and for all.

Again thanks to all of you for your support and responses.

Blackpool Saver - the PWC knows where we live (she has sent pics to CSA), she can see from the outside that this house is not Beckingham Palace, just a standard 4 bed house, and with all of us living there, it certainly is no Tardis

hopefully they will deal with the new complaint at the same time, surely they must have some controls in place to stop vindictiveness for the sake of it? Again best wishes for the tribunal - still waiting for a date for ours.
