Hey, urmm first off i have no idea if i should post this here or what...
Basically yesterday i saw on the grabbit board the free del an poss £10 off code from bounty after voting for dad of the year etc... did the offer then thought id try signing up for next.co.uk to use the code..
I always thought it was like any other online shop..order, pay recieve etc but anyway i had something in the basket to try the code with and entered my details (but not any payment method) and then the browser closed and crashed on me then when i loaded it back up i couldnt sign in and had no emails so assumed nothing had gone through and gave up as i didnt want anything anyway and then my mother started going on about how they bug you forever with catalogues that they charge for etc....
Now i just got a delivery for a top and some earrings which were what was in my basket yesterday...i still cant log in with my email but i can with the customer number....saying i have an available cradit of £126 etc and lists these items...but says no payment is due...
I know i have missed something here, but can someone describe and explain what? I dont want these items, had no idea i had ordered them and would like to return them and completly destroy any connection with the site to be honest...and i dont want to pay for anything!
SOMEONE help! lol ive never had anything like this before and their site isnt overly helpful...

It's like most catalogue sites. You have opened a credit account with them. The link to t&cs should tell you all you need to know.
Regarding the unwanted items, I believe there should be details on how to return them in the package - usually arrange for the courier to pick them up or I suppose you could post them too.
It's only a game

There have been threads on them before. Basically Next is a credit account. Either return the items or keep them and pay them off and then close the account. Can't see how you managed to place an order without confirming you wanted the order though.0 -

Well i was going throught the checkout process expecting it to be like any other online store (i shop online alot so expect it to follow the same boring drill...) it said i had to give them my details so i did, as ive done this for stores before expecting a normal account and expecting a screen asking for my card details and giving me the option to apply a promo code...this didnt come up...it gave me a delivery option which mentioned opening an account if i ordered the catalogue and recieved free delivery on this order, i didnt want it so opted to pay for delivery still expecting to see the next screen asking me for my card details...but this was the point where it crashed so i never saw any other screen...
And when i tried to log in it told me my email wasnt registered so i figured nothing had gone through the system and id have to start from scratch when i did want something (i gave up when i read the grabbit forum again and saw that the code was only free del and the £10 off would be emailed..)
So if i return the items to store, do i still have a £3.95 delivery to cough up for? and how do i pay this? i went on the site and there is no indication that i have to pay anything yet...and it lists the top and earrings on recent activity but i cant see anything about delivery... and if i close the account can i request they take me completely off their records?:jThe Money Saving Wannabe :j

Hi. You will be invoiced for the goods in a few weeks via post and they email you to let you know your invoice is online also. You have a set amount of time to return the goods via courier or in store in which case the items will be refunded to your account. You will however have to pay for the delivery charge. This will be detailed on the invoice - you can pay via post or online.
Perhaps you should speak to customer services - the number might be on the website and they might refund the delivery for you because of your experience.
Hope this helps.0
