Changing My Statutory Credit file

I have applied for a mortgage recently. With a (what I thought was) a clean credit file and high score I figured I would sail through.
Not so.
It seems an o2 default from 2004 it is still showing on my Statutory Credit file even though I have had confirmation from o2 that it was fraud and they would contact the relevant agencys to have it removed.
Now there where 2 accounts and 1 was removed. The other is still there?
Any ideas how I get this removed?
Just to add I have a letter from o2 confirming they accept as fraud.

Write to the CRA's and show them the letter - also demand 02 remove it before you take legal action against them for breaches of DPA, it is also Libellous as things stand so point that out to them......
o2 should be paying you some compo, i'd be asking them for some in your formal complaint!
Also, it drops off after 6 years so would come off automatically this year, assuming you get no joy the formal route....
Good Luck.
