Wifes Car?

All,

I am about to call one of the debt lines but just wanted to get a few thing straight in my head before I do.

My wife and I both have £500 cars..I need mine for work she needs hers to get my son to school (walking is not an option as she has a medical condition)

The BR is just mine and my wife does not work. Our benefits are of course included in the SOA.

Am I allowed to put down for the tax, ins, petrol and MOT that I pay for her car?

Does your wife work? Does she get DLA? (just re-read and no, she doesn't work!)
If either of these two are applicable then no, they would be her own expenses.

If on the other hand she has no income barr the child ones, then she is solely reliant on you and then yes the costs can go down on your SOA.
