Finding Sunglasses Shop OLD Prices

Hi,

I wanted to post this anonymously *just in case* but I am a member here for a long time now, pretty disgusted at their action here but this can be confirmed by MSE staff I'm sure.

To check the price of the sunglasses originally in google enter the full page address from the address bar on the live site that is showing at the moment, paste this into google and search for it, click "cached" link next to the page for the top result.

Here is an example for Oakley (found by searching for http : / / www sunglasses-shop.co.uk/ oakley-sunglasses.asp in google):

http : / / webcache.googleusercontent . com/search?q=cache:i2gEppbWchUJ: www .sunglasses-shop.co.uk/oakley-sunglasses.asp+http : / / www .sunglasses-shop.co .uk/oakley-sunglasses.asp&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&lr=lang_en

(note: I cannot link these due to new user restrictions, you will have to remove all spaces)

This will likely not last for long a few more hours as the cache looks to update daily, I have saved as many cached pages as I can but the cache is likely to update soon. It's not perfect but definitely better than nothing.

I will also be cross posting so apologies again but I think people deserve to know this:A

Regards,

Anon.

P.S. please bump this if it's helped you so others can benefit from it, it won't be long until the cache updates, thanks!

Very useful advice for those suffering the mycitydeals sunglasses fiasco
Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A
