Northampton College interview

I applied to Northampton College for an access to Nursing course and was sent a letter saying they were going to send me an interview, just to wait for date. Excitedly I bought an interview outfit, told my family and friends.
Today I receive a letter , no interview, to be placed on waiting list.

Just a warning anyone applying to Northampton College, an offer of an interview isn't worth the paper it is written on...

There have been a lot of cuts in FE recently and I imagine that this could well be the cause of what has happened. Many people on a waiting list are eventually accepted; perhaps you could contact them and ask how long the list is and where you are on it.

Best of luck, my sister did her nursing degree and loved it. Took it out of her though as she is dyslexic and didn't do so well at school, she got through it though and has already been Australia for a year working and plans to go New Zealand this year too.

It's a great career, but I know she much prefers working abroad, better working conditions. Maybe something to consider in a few years.
