Does anyone use these sites? Are they reliable?

Ciao is good, but earnings aren't as high. Dooyoo used to be good, but more and more they're using peoples reviews until they try to cash out (sometimes months later), and suddenly the reviews aren't up to scratch and they won't pay up. I asked Dooyoo to remove all my reviews a few months ago because I could see the way they were heading.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

I use Ciao and Dooyoo and find them both to be reliable.
Basically you write reviews on any products or write advice- advice about breast feeding, discipline, the government etc and you get paid for your reviews.
On Dooyoo you get paid 50p per review and the 1.5p for every member who rates how well written your review is.
On Ciao you don't get paid per review but you get paid a certain amount for every member rate and then at the end of the month you get a premium award too which can be anything from £2-100 depending on how popular your reviews have been. Also on ciao they have product of the week and discussion of the month where you can win extra money.
In terms of payments they have both been reliable.

Yes both are reliable but as Fiver says dooyoo are cracking down on what they consider to be 'substandard' reviews - but they don't seem to actually check them until you request payout despite the 48 hour wait before earnings go from pending to confirmed.
Ciao is generally harder to earn on as not everything is a paying product, and there isn't a single rate of payment, it can be 0.5p, 1p or 2p per rating and only if the reader rates it as a positive. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Although not everything is a paying review on Ciao ou can still earn from it- if it gets lots of reads you still get a share from the premium award at the end of the month.
FOr dooyoo i think so long as you write good quality reviews (usually i find these to be over 400 words long) then you don't have any problems in terms of payment0 -
I joined Dooyoo at the beginning of April. Yesterday I did my first request to cash in - for a £20 Amazon voucher - and it arrived in my email box today. I've already spent it. The voucher did have quite a short life, around 2 weeks, so don't order them until you want to spend it.
I understand they can be slow if you request a cheque to end up with actual cash in the bank.
But I'm doing it to help out with christmas prezzies so Amazon vouchers are fine by me; that's my sister's DVD box set ordered! My aim is to get £20 per month, buy one prezzie each month from now to Xmas, and that's 8 prezzies done which is really a big help for me.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
With the DooYoo Amazon vouchers, they may have a short life but you can load them onto your Amazon account and they stay on there as money in your account.
DooYoo and Ciao are both good earners but you need to be prepared to put in the effort.0 -
I've been a member of DooYoo for about a month now - have done a few reviews, but am not yet at 'cashing out' level, not even for an Amazon voucher.
Have had a lot of positive feedback for my reviews though, so am gonna keep going with it. Just sometimes lack the motivation to actually log on! Yes, I'm a lazy cow!! lmao!
Gonna keep going with the aim of saving up amazon vouchers (loaded into my account) to get birthday pressies etc! Already got the hubby's birthday present (it's in July) thanks to Shop and Scan!0
