Just thought I'd share this free exhibition that starts today, the photos look amazing, I popped up to see it on my lunchbreak today.

Over 18 months ago, The Bridgewater Hall commissioned William Ellis, one of the world’s leading music photographers, to capture the artistic life of the Hall. William has been given exclusive access to photograph many of the Hall’s artists in performance and backstage. The result is a compelling collection of images which reflect the diversity of the Hall’s programming, capture the essence of live performance and provide a glimpse behind the scenes at one of the country’s finest music venues.

Artists photographed include our resident orchestras (including Elbow and The Hall!), Christy Moore, Jamie Cullum, Beverly Knight, Buddy Guy, Buena Vista Social Club, Herbie Hancock, Jack Jones, KD Lang and Liza Minnelli. Please see our website for more information:
