I've just booked a holiday next year with Thomson and used this code and it went through all ok.

Dont think there is a minimum spend - use the link https://www.thomson.co.uk and put in the details of your holiday as though you are booking it, just before payment page you can add you discount code to see if it will be accepted.

I've tried the two codes mentioned and it says
"Sorry, but the value of your booking must be 500 or over for the promotional code to apply."
Hu-shades gets you 30 pounds off if under 500 pounds.
