Just need some TLC......

Feeling very down today, nothing seems to happen fast enough. Just had words with OH because I am down.

Sometimes I feel in a catch two situation, can't get the house done to sell, because OH is at work long hours to try to service our debts. Because of our ages I feel the next 5/6 years will be spent trying to pay off our debt, then we will retire and have no income to spend some time together.

I feel sometimes that I will die never going anywhere or seeing anything and it depresses me, but feel if I say anthing to OH he gets down too as he blames himself for the situation we are in.

sorry feeling sorry for myself today, but don't have anyone else I can sound off at.

Its justs one of those days, this site is so diverse, if you have a good luck you are bound to come accross items with good humour, that will cheer you up. And loads of stories from other people in similar and perhaps worse situations to yours.:grouphug:((((Hugs))))):grouphug:

  • Thanks for your encouragement, but today I don't feel that there can be many other situations that are worse than ours, and that's because of our ages, my OH is 59 and I am 55. It is ironic that for the first time in my life I have a qualification and my income has increased and now it is all going to service my OH's debt. I must have done something very bad in a previous life!

don't really know enough about your situation to comment except about the house.
any house will sell irrespective of its condition...get an estate agent round now, before winter sets in and get a valuation and ask their view about the work you are planning. you'll probably find that the work you're planning won't increase the value by your level of spending.

These days/weeks are a regular for all of us, i am in a similar mood at the moment as it seems that for some reason we are as badly off this month as we where before we started tackling our debt earlier this year:o .

Try and keep positive its the only thing we can.
